As we celebrate 25 years of connecting and empowering Virginia’s business leaders, the Virginia CEOs Board of Directors is excited to share our 2026–2028 Strategic Plan. It’s a practical, forward-looking roadmap designed to strengthen our community, deepen engagement, and fuel growth for years to come.
Our Mission and Vision Remain the Same
Our mission is simple: to connect CEOs for learning and growth through structured peer groups, best-in-class learning events, and access to Virginia’s largest CEO community.
Our vision continues to guide us. We strive to be the leading community for growth-minded CEOs to connect, learn, and become their best selves.
The Plan at a Glance
Built on our core values—Keep Learning, Share Openly, Embody Trust, Generously Commit, Give Safe Haven, and Value Diversity—the plan focuses on four strategic pillars:
1. Thriving Peer Groups
Peer groups remain the heart of the Virginia CEOs experience. We will strengthen leader training, improve onboarding, and introduce professional facilitation where it is most helpful.
2. Member-Led Community
We want members to help shape what this community becomes next. You will see more ways to get involved, clearer paths for engagement, and better support for those who want to plan or lead member-driven events. Our goal is to create richer connections that extend beyond roundtables and forums.
3. Association Growth
We grow by welcoming great CEOs into our community. Our focus will remain on member referrals, thoughtful vetting, sponsor engagement, and intentional expansion. We will always protect the safe haven culture that sets Virginia CEOs apart.
4. Vibrant Learning
Learning sits at the center of everything we do. We will continue offering programs that spark curiosity and create shared experiences. These range from major events such as our Spring Retreat, to smaller member-led and sponsor-led sessions throughout the year.
